First Winter Camp at the JYCF

From the 2nd to the 8th of January 2023, the JYCF held its very first winter camp at the Silwan Athletic Club.

Over the six days, 40 students between ages 9 and 16 took part in an intensive workshop. This included ensembles, celebrating middle eastern music and the ‘Naqsh’ qanoun band, classes on leadership and life skills, and games.

On the final day the group took a trip to Ein Abadat and Ramon’s crater to introduce them to the historical importance of the sites. They also held a concert to showcase what they had accomplished during the camp.
